Managing Partner
Virginia "Ginny" Henson
A trusted leader in family law, elder law, and estate planning. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma in 1979 and has devoted her career to helping clients protect their families, their assets, and their legacies.
Ginny has guided countless clients through estate planning—whether creating initial plans for families with or without minor children, updating plans after divorce, or implementing trusts. She carefully reviews financial information to ensure clients’ wishes are honored and their estates protected, including strategic Medicaid planning to preserve assets for long-term care needs.
A respected figure in the Oklahoma legal community, Ginny has held leadership roles in the Oklahoma Bar Association, edited the Oklahoma Family Law Section Practice Manual since 2006, and in 2023 assumed responsibility for updating the Oklahoma Family Law Handbook created by Professor Robert Spector. She is an adjunct professor of Family Law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and has served on the Board of Editors of the Oklahoma Bar Journal.
Ginny’s work has earned her numerous honors, including the Earl Sneed Award for Best Bar Journal Article (2020), two selections as Oklahoma’s Outstanding Family Lawyer, long-standing Martindale-Hubbell AV ratings, and inclusion in Best Lawyers in America. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a frequent speaker for the ABA, OBA, Tinker Air Force Base JAG Corps, and county bar associations throughout Oklahoma.
